International Vintage Glider Meeting at Enemonzo UD.
From 17 to 25 June 2016, the first International Vintage Glider Meeting
will take place in the airfield of Enemonzo, in place Privilegio, organized
by the amateur sport group Centro Volo North East (CVNE). The Centre consists
of thirty members, all fly patented, most of them flying private gliders.
The CVNE provides pilots, in addition to the runway always excellently
serviced, the power plane for aerotow and the clubhouse.
The airfield Enemonzo is located in an area of considerable value: for
gliding. From there you can fly in any direction and at any orography
(Alps, Dolomites, Hills and Plain). Under the logistic point of view,
it is easily accessible from a large pool of potential pilots, as it is
only 20 km from the gate of Carnia-Tolmezzo Highway (A23). It is also
reached, as often happens, with ultralights and general aviation aircrafts
(Cessna, Piper, etc).
